RUNNIN' OF THE STRIP

Yes, it is that time again!  Each year we celebrate National Quilting Day with our "Runnin' of the Strip" event and this year it is Saturday, March 17th!  This is the one day event in which you will travel to each of 3 shops to gather your strip packets in order to put them together along with the setting kit of your choice to make an amazing beautiful strip quilt. Cathy has once again out-done herself with Material Girls' Strip Quilt done with rich colorful batiks of turquoises & browns using the pattern "Sonora"; and Siriporn has done another amazing job of quilting it!  It is hanging in our sitting area for you to gaze at; you can see a picture here.

Grab your friends & make a day of it...visit us, Sunflower Quilts in Derby and Needle in a Haystack in Severy, purchase your strip packets at all three shops & purchase the setting kit you prefer (we hope you pick ours!...we like it the best!).  You will also pick up your free pattern and you will be automatically be eligible to win one of three beautiful, quilter-friendly gift-baskets!
